The signature of a parent/guardian is required in order to allow your child to participate in this off campus trip. Full payment for the trip is due by Thursday, December 3, 2015 Time departure from school 7:15 Time of return to school 6:00 Students will have to arrange a ride for transport after the trip is complete as the bus will be returning after school hours. Meal Information: Bagged lunch will be provided. There will be a stop for dinner on the return trip that students are responsible for. Information about the trip Students will be able to enter a historical house in the beautiful countryside of Asheville, NC. The grounds will be decorated with a winter theme and the house is always open to guests. The house itself was built by Vanderbuilt and then donated to the state to give the public a vision into what life was like for a man of that stature. The guided tours give a state standard aligned vision into our nation's history. |
